On a related note, you may not have seen this essay on how organized religions can lose the idea of freedom....via their leadership...https://ritona.substack.com/p/what-a-mormon-musical-taught-me-about

I quite enjoy your articles, Zeus, but this is one of your better ones!

I studied and followed Dr. Hawkins for years and eventually walked away from his cult. I'd suggest looking at Scott Jeffrey's book Power vs Truth, Peering Behind the Teachings of Dr. David Hawkins. I'd certainly never recommend him.

Thank you for this, Zeus and I agree with everything. I think we are going through some collective shift which, however, is very painful and difficult. This happens both internally and externally and with such intensity that either destroys us or evolves us. The point of un-plugging is a very important one and especially difficult one. On a personal level, someone close is suffering from a debilitating degenerative disease and the country in which assisted dying or even unplugging (when the body would be allowed to die naturally) is not allowed. The whole family is going through an immense trauma watching this hopelessly. On a collective level, we dream of unplugging from the system and going off-grid but this is not possible for most people - how can we unplug and survive financially- as most of our jobs are plugged in to the corrupt system whose unwilling servants we have become? Yes, micro-unplugging helps (such as walks in nature, meditation, a circle of friends) but it is like a painkiller that soothes a pain but does not heal. The only way, I see this is to stay plugged in externally (while being unplugged internally). By being unplugged internally I mean not buying into mainstream narratives of lies and manipulations. BY staying plugged in externally - I mean staying in the system but as agents of goods. Every simple decision we make at work or a conversation with a stranger - gives us an opportunity to bring light and truth. We cannot just comply 'to pay the bills', we need to agents of change in the times of darkness. This is an example that all great beings gave us - of being present in light - whenever possible. Thank you.
